Rachel has won many photographic and papercraft competitions and has participated in a variety of art exhibitions, and continues to experiment with alternative processes in photography, scrapbooking and stamping. Although Rachel shoots both colour and black & white images, her main passion lies with fine art black & white photography.

Rachel completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree in 1994 at the University of Newcastle, majoring in photography. For the following 2 years Rachel assisted professional photographers in Sydney who specialised in editorial, theatre and film.

During 1996/97 Rachel travelled in Europe for 12 months where she was able to combine her passions of photography and travel. Although now living back on Australian shores, Rachel continues to travel on shorter assignments and regularly contributes to travel magazines and related publications.

Rachel won the ‘Master of Scrapbooking’ competition in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine in 2002. With an increasing interest in scrapbooking products, Rachel teamed up with Stamp-It Australia in 2004 to produce a wide range of patterned paper, rubber stamps and invitation papers.
